Welcome Back - The Mente Calma Newsletter Is Here

After a season of growth, reflection, and building behind the scenes, we're back - and this time, we're bringing the Mente Calma community closer together with a regular newsletter. Here's what to expect, and why we think it matters.

Dear Mente Calma Community,

We have missed you. And if you have been following along - on Instagram, at our events, or simply by quietly reading these articles - we hope you have felt, even from a distance, that something is growing here.

Today, we are making it official: the Mente Calma Newsletter is here.

We know your inbox is full. We know your time is precious. So we want to be upfront about what this newsletter is - and what it is not.

It is not a marketing email. It is not a list of promotions or a weekly reminder to book a session (though we do hope you will, when the time is right). It is a letter. A genuine, thoughtful, regular letter from us to you - about mental health, about life, about the things that are hard to say out loud but need to be said.

Each edition will bring you one piece of writing worth your time. Sometimes it will be a reflection on something happening in the world and what it means for our collective mental health. Sometimes it will be a practical tool you can use that week. Sometimes it will simply be an honest conversation about something we are all navigating - grief, burnout, relationships, the particular exhaustion of being a woman in the world today.

We will also share updates from the Mente Calma Foundation - the community programmes, the events, the work that happens quietly and consistently because we believe that mental health care should reach everyone, not just those who can afford it.

If you are reading this, you are already part of this community. And we are glad you are here.

With warmth,

Dr. Adetutu Kunuji & the Mente Calma Team
